Yulelog 2025

Announced during the 2025 Uncrank'd Pumpkin Patch & Play Showcase, a new Yulelog 2025  is coming for the  2025 Playdate Advent calendar. I'm looking for another 5 events to add the ten that have already been created. You can even submit your own 400 pixel and 240 pixel artwork and/or some festive seasonal music to be added to the app. 

2025 Update:

Two ways to enjoy.

-Cozy fireplace: The fireplace where you can listen to the fire crackle or play some music.

- Fireplace Plus: Everything above but with 5 events that will randomly spawn.

10+ music tracks of lofi, pop, tunes with a sintar.

For this sale, I have to put a price on the game at the lowest price on Itch which is $1. A goal will be set from the start day all the way to December 30th. The toal amount donated will be announced on December 31st.

%50 of donations will go to SPCA while the other %50 will go to a local food bank. The food bank in my area will match my donation. If $50 is donated, they will add $50 making the total donation $100!

For now, you can read about the demo that I released from 2023. The original demo is no longer playable.

This is the Playdate Yulelog fireplace game demo. This is a wonky idea that came up while sketching late one night. This is a work in progress for December this year. Any donations made to the game will go towards adopting a caribou (reindeer).

• It would be similar to the holiday fireplaces you've likely seen on YouTube or on TV.
• You can enjoy the 8-bit sounds of a fireplace, and enjoy WIP loop of a remixed Christmas song.
• If you want to contribute a music track, you can. The game is made in Pulp so it would have to be converted to be used in Pulp as a .JSON file.

It's 11pm and you need to stay up until midnight. You have your trusty "expired" eggnog and some whimsical things happen once you start cranking slowly. You'll miss out on the Yuletide spirit if you crank too fast and Santa won't be happy.  Is it truly a whimsical moment or is the eggnog doing a number on you? 

One more thing, try not to drink too much eggnog or let the fire of the fireplace go out or it is game over.
