Snatchy Carrots

Enter the Lasagnaverse and discover the backstory to a fan favorite character from Soothsayer: Bunnycles. A jackalope rabbit with tentacles thanks the the magical influence of Oraclepus.  This is the full game to the fan favorite mini-game that was in the Playdate Bunny Bundle app. 

"Spoiler alert" the little bunny that appears and helps you in Soothsayer isn't actually named Bunnycles. His real name is Archibault 'Archibun' Friseal. He lived in a small town called Magog. He definitely had a hard life but he managed to get by and joined up with the Blackjacks. Of course with him being a jackalope, he was shunned by his peers. One day, the head Blackjack Major Boots intervened and gave him his first S-ranked mission and promoted him to a junior member of the Blackjacks. Of course, he jumped at the opportunity. Little did he know, his destiny was set. 

Congratulations! You're now a BlackJack and you have your first S-Ranked mission. Our clients wants you to collect 1337 carrots and six (6) hard to find golden carrots. They need you to bring these carrots to the abandoned barn on the other side of the farm. I've seen that look before. Don't get cocky. You have to watch out for traps set by Domino the border collie or a challenge from the 'groundhogs', or maybe help out a fellow creature who needs help. 

Be careful though. Reports are coming in of these weird one-eyed flowers who give off an awful energy. Some say, they are Oraclepus' minions spying on you. Whatever you do, make sure you listen to the Oisin. They have been on this land for many years and they will guide you. Good luck.

Archi: The main "bunbun"  of the game. You're playing as him going through 15 levels. You're also a legendary Jackalope but you don't know it as yet.

Major Boots: The head Blackjack for the northern rabbitsphere. He's a battle scarred bunny that has been through a lot but he is highly respected because of his leadership and wisdom. My advice, stay on his good side.

Jarnadan: He's an Oisin who is on the verge of becoming a shaman. He's there to help you out and to simply the Oisin philosophyinto simple words.

Toomins Eilbee: A wise Oisin (and contestant from the Snatchy Carrots contest from the Playdate Bunny Bundle) who can be found down by the River. Listen to his wise words and maybe he may give you something.

Jongjungbu: The powerful leader of the mountain Oisins  (and contestant from the Snatchy Carrots contest from the Playdate Bunny Bundle). He is bigger than the others and is wise beyond his years. He always offers good advice.

 Dyani: An Oisin who became the first Shamanka in the last 1000 years.  Wise beyond her years, she went to human colleges and universities studying their medical knowledge. One day, she was told by an elder to keep tabs on the one called Oraclepus who is causing an imbalance in the universe. She is constantly watching over you.

 SID: A river otter (and winner for the Snatchy Carrots contest from the Playdate Bunny Bundle) can be found down by the river. Go and talk to him as he needs help.

Mota: A doggo (and contestant from the Snatchy Carrots contest from the Playdate Bunny Bundle) who wanders around the farm. He will give you some carrots or speak his mind.

Marinara: A bunny (and contestant from the Snatchy Carrots contest from the Playdate Bunny Bundle) who can be found by the abandoned barn. He gives off some serious pizza vibes, so pay attention.

Domino & kids: Domino is Ted's border collie. While he does everything he needs to do to keep the animals in check, he's truly a special one. He's 35 years old in dog years and has the stamina of a one year old puppy. How does he do it? 

 Ignotus: The weird flowers that Major Boots told you about.  They were humans who fell for Oraclepus' traps and were transformed into these octo-flowers. The most recent Ignotus was from a Kismet jack in the box. It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves. Perhaps one day, these poor souls will be freed and be human again.

 Farmer Ted: The eccentric farmer from Magog Quebec. This is the family farm that has been in the family since the 1800's. While he talks too much, I think he's figuring out what's going on. He's an avid listener to the Angl3RCast with Zahara and Tim. He loves conspiracy theories.

 Rhubarb: A rude raccoon who loves chicken sausages, maple cookies and marshmellows. He is the President of PayPaw and manages several terminals. Sadly, he suffered a major data breach and is taking it out on everyone.

 Archer: The conspiracy theory spider. Everything revolves around Oraclepus for him. 

 Antoine: A worker ant selling some wares. 

  Rospo Gracchiare:  The Don himself from the Mio Rospo. He requires a special item for him to even speak to you. Make sure you have that item or say bye bye to your carrots.

 Crankworm: HIs real name is C̴̗̠̺͓̫͈̞̞͆̈́͒͜ͅr̶̨̜̙͈̗̭͔͚͔̲̥͇̅̇̑̿̀̈̐͋́̉a̴̦̝̝͉̙͎̜͈̞̍̌̀͋n̶̡̡̨͍̫̘̤͍̞̟̥͝k̶͔̮̙͈̩̞͈̗̫̯̘̦͌̔̔͛̈́̿́̍̚̚͜ę̷̢̮̹͈͙̹̺͈͙̭͆͌̂̚ĺ̴͉̳͖̥̤̅̃̆̅́̆̈̔̃͊́̑̊͝i̷̺͕͐͑͌̌͌̋̄ú̸̢̬̳̞̩̫̳̍̑̐̈͊͑͋͌͂ͅs̸͙̲͉̳̀ ̷̨̨̼̳̪̦̳͙̱̣̝̻̗͗͑̓̎̕͜ͅD̸̦̱̙͓̺̖̭͉͎̞͒̉̈́́̇̂̚ͅr̷̨̛͓̞̲̐̆͑͒̉͐͘̚͜͝e̶̺̠̓͊̅͌̆̾̉͒̿͘͠x̶̨̛͖͔̲͈͍̥̤̦͖̅̅̃̽̊̉̒̈̒̈͆̃͜ë̸̡̨͙̤̇̃͘l̴̘̘̯̞̙̏͂̓̕. He prefers being called Crannkworm. A "humble" shopkeep who's there to help you, we think. Go with him on an adventure. Stay on his good said as most of the animals on the form either work or report to him. Call him, "C-dubs". He loves it. How did this little worm become so powerful?

There are six (6) overworlds to traverse. The farm (Ted's house, the small barn), the Maple forest, home of the Ignotus, Mt. Orford (Mountain), the river (Magog) and the abandoned barn located on the far side of the farm.

• There are carrots everywhere but be careful as some creatures will take your carrots or trap carrots will take away some of your carrots. (Hint: They look a little different from the others.)
• Creatures may offer you a big reward as in something you ABSOLUTELY need if you help them or just listen to him. Complete the missions and receive a bunch of carrots or even the elusive golden carrot. 

• Golden carrots can be found in some overworlds.
• Make sure you check everything in the level before moving on to the next one. While carrots may respawn, the levels are locked until you fail your mission or beat the game.
• If you have 0 carrots, it's mission failed!

A comic is in the works. It will be posted once completed. This will fill in the blanks that I could not fit in the game. If enough interest is there, I will do a small physical print run.
